HARVEST 2011: A VERY GOOD YEAR
08-11-2011The vintage 2011 was a vintage special, the heat of August resulted in an even higher level of quality vintage 2003, and wines that have values in terms of extract, alcohol content, color and all the parameters that determine a great wine well over the previous years, definitely great wines for aging.
This obviously gives us satisfaction but makes us understand and teach that it is often the year that makes ilvino., And that for a company to have a first principle of natural wine without correction of equipment in those years is maybe not in favor of a discourse that involves a confrontation with those who would like a wine and of course the same perfect in every vintage.
For me it is a source of pride because I drink our wine every day, to tell you that I have now noticed that our wines every vintage is not the same as the previous one but has different characteristics, as nature takes her hand, and determine some characteristics for each year that we do not want to force, and that the wine you drink is just as you think it did, with a traditional system and without corrections.
Today it is pleasure and satisfaction that some of you have noticed this, and begin to doubt some wines are always the same in all years, and begin to think that first of all you must demand a genuine wine, and untreated. or constructed by the oenologist and finished according to market demands.
Now I would not bore you, and be repetitive, so I remind you to always have on your table with a glass of good wine sincere, from price downward wary of wines that turn out to be the perfect anonymous, and the wine deugstare calmly, to grasp every nuance that even the negative ones we can offer, which are a peculiarity.

Harvest 2011: Finally we
05-09-2011We're really running out, is already fermenting Chardonnay, Cortese will touch a few days, and so on Rose (1 st year of production) Dolcetto, Grignolino and 14 days from the Great Barbera.
The forecasts are otttime thanks to hot weather in August that allowed excellent ripeness of the grapes, this is obviously at the expense of the amount which appears to be lower than the previous year.

Days of Barbera d'Asti 2011
03-05-2011From 14 to 15 May 2011 held in Agliano Terme Fair Days Barbera. Following the recognition of the status of Exhibition of regional interest, the "Days of Barbera" (15th edition) are represented as one of the most interesting events related to the famous wine of Asti Barbera. The area is particularly suited, the production tradition passed down for generations, are a reference point for fans of Barbera d'Asti and all stakeholders that include garlic and its tenants in the excellence of Barbera. For these reasons, the "Days of Barbera, the concurrent International Competition of Painting and Graphics" Art in a Bottle "and the Festival of the Hills Enogastronomica Aglianesi have become a major event and awaited with interest by both the general public and connoisseurs. The City of Agliano Terme, and the Pro Loco have progressively enriched the program of the event: the tasting of the best Barbera d'Asti, was joined this year a group of French producers of Beaujolais and an Austrian producer, along with leisure time and user-friendly during which sample the great local cuisine and soak in the culture of this fertile and generous land.
