How to find us
Placed in the extreme south area of Monferrato, Agliano Terme shows at the first glance its intense beauty; the alive hills following one another, the clear-cut rows of the grapevines in the vineyards, the small built-up areas of farmhouses, the sounds and fragrances typical of the country, are the first enchanting elements, that welcome the visitors. Agliano cannot be simply defined as a ”country village” ; in addition to the peasant traditions, that still now are handed down from father to son, also the tourist custom has taken place, what has allowed the inhabitants of Agliano to be particularly friendly and open to the ones showing interest in their village.
The ground particularly suitable for viticulture and the wine production, that is handed down from generation to generation, represent a reference point for the connoisseurs of good wines, in particular for the ones of Barbera d’Asti.
Exactly in the area of Agliano, this wine is particularly highlighting its organoleptic features: the young wine has a ruby red colour, verging in garnet after the ageing. Winy fragrance, agreeably intense and typical of Barbera. The taste is dry and smooth.
